CUSTOM HOMES

Not every home builder can build high-value, custom architectural homes. The designs are complex and require a technical background, and practical construction techniques and experience to execute the design. This is where Capstone Custom Homes separates itself from its competitors. Barry Laidlaw, Owner and Partner at Capstone Custom Homes, combines the formal education and training of a graduate architect along with over 25 years of construction experience designing and building award winning homes in Calgary and throughout Western Canada.

LARGE SCALE RENOVATIONS

Capstone Custom Homes have completed a number of large-scale renovations over the years. We only take on large-scale renovations because our entire team is involved with each project whether it is a new build or a renovation. Owners Barry Laidlaw and Brigitte Lepage are involved in every step of each Capstone Custom Homes project whether that is a new home or large-scale renovation. Their focus is on delivering a high-quality custom renovation along with a great building experience. Having the business owners directly involved in every large-scale renovation project is a something that Capstone Custom Homes takes pride in offering.

This is our opportunity to get to know you and your project, and your opportunity to get to know us, and what we do.

We are getting more details of the build or renovation and we move toward finalizing designs, seeking building permits, and creating a detailed estimate.

We have final plans and detailed estimates prepared.  Construction contract reviewed and signed.

 

Construction schedule is established and construction begins.

Construction is complete, warranty is reviewed, pre-occupancy walkthrough is completed, and possession of the home and warranty is transferred.
